Senior Developer at SAP Business Objects
Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
I'm principally a Web developer and enjoy learning new technologies and helping to break new ground on future products.
I also love to get my teeth into troublesome issues and enjoy the challenge of fixing the more awkward bugs.
I recently led development on an internal tool to manage and report all QA data relating to our current product lines. Working primarily on my own initiative and using Adobe Flex as the base technology I'm proud to have created a tool that had had many positive comments throughout the wider organisation.
I'm also currently responsible for managing code lines and build processes using internal build tools Install-shield and Perforce for Source control. A job that involves a lot of support for the rest of the development team and liaising with colleagues internationally across the wider organisation.
I'm currently looking into new technologies including CSS3, HTML5 and ActionScript 4.
My goal is to be involved in a key development for a dynamic growing organisation, ideally using Flex or Silverlight/ASP.Net Ajax ultimately moving into project management.
Experience developing applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET AJAX, ActionScript 3, VBA (MS Access)
Experience using Flex/FLash Builder, Visual Studio, Aptana, Eclipse and Netbeans IDE tools.
