Red Hat is the world's leading open source software vendor providing high-quality, low-cost technology with its operating system platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and middleware platform, JBoss Enterprise Middleware.
I joined Red Hat in June 2006 as part of the JBoss acquisition. As VP of Product Management, I focused on the overall strategy for JBoss Enterprise Middleware and was responsible for expanding our middleware stack into the area of enterprise data management and data services via the acquisition and integration of MetaMatrix, a privately held software company, in June 2007.
I played a lead role in the challenging integration of the JBoss business within Red Hat. I take great pride knowing the middleware business posted five (5) consecutive quarters of quarter over quarter revenue growth leading up to my departure; an important signal of a successful integration.

During this period, the company grew from approximately 50 employees to 200 employees worldwide.
