I’m a hybrid. My professional career started within the newsroom working as a reporter, assignment editor then producer. Before heading into PR (a logical transition for many ‘retired’ news folks), I jumped into promotions, directing events, public relations and marketing for the Southeast’s largest entertainment weekly newspaper group. A fortuitous lunch led a change in professional direction enabling me to add the business to business experience alongside my consumer and promotional marketing skills.
I’ve been practicing an integrated approach to promoting a business long before the phrase was business chic. I like to approach a challenge looking at all of the pieces of the marketing mix – public relations, advertising, promotions and general marketing to make sure the messaging is unified across all channels.
I excel at helping my clients conceive creative solutions. I don’t just create the ideas. And more importantly, I know how – and actually assist with implementation - backing my words with action.

At RoundSquare our goal is to make your marketing and public relations programs compelling, cost efficient and effective. We question the norm, turn over a few rocks, and look at things from all sides. We also keep the approach balanced, not forgetting the basic building blocks that are tried-and-true.
We love a good story. In fact, we love helping our clients create interesting, intriguing and downright reputable stories. Stories that make a point, spread the word and share our client’s vision to a select target audience.
We’re not talking simply about written words. We do write well, but we also know how to spread your news in creative and innovative ways. An orange may start out round, but with a little creative spin, you can produce a nice array of angles to help squeeze out a little extra attention.
