My experience in creating content spans multiple mediums, including scriptwriting, copywriting, graphic design, and video production. Having spent twelve years in consumer goods as a creative director, and two years online as a marketer and project manager, I have a top to bottom (and even sideways) understanding of how messaging can attract, engage, and convert viewers. My primary passion is writing, and I’ve completed two feature scripts, two televisions specs, and have a couple of web series pilots in the pipeline. In March, I secured representation with a top management company.
I spent over a decade building new companies within the youth market of inline skating, and was responsible for creating six of the most popular brands in the marketplace during that time. Many of my brands and products have been the recipient of various industry awards. I've spent the last two years online, specifically reaching out to the 18-34 demographic via niche social networks. In 2008, I helped to make 'quarterlife' http://www.quarterlife.com/ the most-watched web series on the Internet. Having worked for a variety of companies in different industries, I've learned to customize my voice to best reach each target community. Basically, if ‘Ninja’ were a degree one could hold in branding and communications, even those guys would be afraid of me.
If you'd like to know more, please ask and I'll tell you stories of what it was like to drill oil derricks at the top of the Alaska pipeline. Mind you, these aren't necessarily my stories.
