• Managed various large scale projects through the full project life cycle serving as a technical project manager for the RF Engineering group.
• Managed network modernization project over a period of one year. This project included: CBSC additions, switch additions, BTS change outs, carrier additions, parameter testing, and software implementation. The project was completed on-time with best ever performance results for the network.
• Managed Mobile Assisted Hard Handoff (MAHHO) project that resulted in cost savings of $3.0 Million. This project involved testing MAHHO feature in the market, getting approvals from the project sponsors for the feature deployment after completion of testing, identifying the locations and cost savings for the deployment. The parameter was deployed at 54 sites in the market eliminating the need to add carriers.
• Managed a highly visible EVDO Rev A integration project. This project involved frequency clearance, contractor management, equipment installation, software installation and testing, drive testing resource management, and performance analysis. The PM role included managing the entire life cycle of the project from initiating to closing.
• Managed various parameter and new software feature testing and implementation projects for the market working with local and national cross functional teams.
• Managed various in-building DAS and repeater projects.
• Used Microsoft Project to manage project plans.

• Lead the design, performance, and optimization of CDMA IS95, 1XRTT, EV-DO, and iDen based wireless networks in Chicago.
• Designed, deployed, and managed various in-building coverage systems for both internal (Sprint) and external customer locations. These systems included RF Repeaters and Fiber based Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
• Worked on design and implementation of O’Hare Airport CTA tunnel project, Allstate HQ fiber DAS system, Sears HQ, McCormick Place, and more than ten Sprint Nextel store locations.
• Performed in-building site surveys to determine path loss characteristics using Agilent Walkabout.
• Developed and analyzed RF Link budgets for both macro and in-building systems.
• Developed and implemented various nationwide processes. Some of these processes were considered best practices and rolled out nationally throughout the company.
• Performed PN planning, capacity planning, and CBSC planning.
• Worked on multi-carrier frequency channel additions and pilot beacon projects.
• Performed layer 3 messaging analysis for dropped calls, call setup failures, and call handoff failures.
• Analyzed market for capacity needs, proposed cell splits and carrier additions.
• Attended and testified at zoning hearings for new site additions and modifications.
• Tested, implemented, and managed new software features in the market to improve performance KPIs.
• Supervised a team of engineers and contractors. Responsible for working with recruiters for new personnel hiring, performance appraisals, employee reviews, and salary adjustments.
• Negotiated contracts with contracting firms and vendors for site modifications services, in-building system installations, drive testing services, and other project resource needs.
• Worked extensively with sales team to determine customer requirements and to develop product proposals (RFP) for major customers.
