Shahir joined an upscale hospitality consultation organization in Middle East in 2006 as its VP Training & Development till April 2008. On a sabbatical from being 'employed' to be an 'employer', Shahir ventured to test his entrepreneurial skills and relocated to India to establish an independent HR/Trainining consultancy catering to corporates, academic institutions and mainly upscale hotel brands.
