Sergio Uribe’s Summary

I am a Lecturer in Research Methodology and Public Health Studies at the School of Dentistry, University of Valparaiso, CHILE, and a dentist specialising in Maxillofacial Radiology. I was born in Chile. Now I am a Dental Surgeon (DDS) , graduated from the University of Valparaiso Chile, and hold a Speciality in MaxilloFacial Radiology (2003).

I have been involved in various public health and dental public health research projects using a multidisciplinary approach and collaborating with researchers from institutions in Australia, Argentina, UK and Sweden. Also I am the Website Editor of the Evidence-Based Dentistry Group (www.evidentista.org).

A combination of research experience and my degree has allowed me to work with a variety of research design and technologies, with emphasys in preventive dental programs and remineralizing agents.

Also I provides statistical consulting services to researchers, healt decision-makers and business managers.

Currently my research is focused in Cariology, Preventive Dentistry and Dental Traumatology.
