I have a passion for technology and have enjoyed a classical technology management career including key positions with Government Department of Defense and well-known Fortune 1000 firms such as Unisys, Loral, and Lockheed Martin as well as more entrepreneurial positions with fast growth technology firms, research centers and startups. My typical customers/partners were Fortune 1000 such as Bombardier, IBM, Duke Energy, Rolls Royce, Raytheon, TI, IBM, Marconi, Agusta and Westland.
As Chief Technical Services for the Department of Defense I managed up to 700 personnel, Test Center, and annual acceptance/inspection services for over $1B of Bombardier and Rolls Royce Aerospace products and engineering services. As Manager Test/Airworthiness for Unisys I implemented FAR 29 and SCM vendor certification on a $5B EH-101 MHP and SAR program. As Director QA for Unisys and Loral I lead the implementation of TQM/CMM/SEI/ISO . As Director Advanced Programs at Lockheed I supported or lead integration projects of $50M to $350 M. I also launched and managed a resulting $50M investment and R&D tax credit fund in avionics test and simulation and launched as Project Manager the first $4.5 M commercial Aircraft Virtual Simulator (FTD) in C++ in partnership with Bombardier for this line of business. I then took the position of VP R&D of a Computer Research Institute managing over 100 personnel and worldwide partnership with Research Centers and an $8M P&L. As Technology Board member for a VC for 4 years I evaluated over 200 business investment cases for a $2B Technology fund. As VP Ops of a CTI IBM VAR I spearheaded increase in revenues from $0.8M to $5.0M and profit from 0% to 30%.
I am a Canadian citizen with a US Permanent Resident work permit (Green Card) and am fluent in English and in French. I hold a Master of Administration and a Master of Science .
