(Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Printing industry)
March 1997 — November 2005 (8 years 9 months)
Sir Speedy and PIP Printing franchise networks were the organizations I supported with sales training development. When I left FSI, I was working in the marketing department and working closely with franchise owners to increase sales with sales managment advice. My expertise in ACT, CRM programs and email marketing strategies and Major Account sales was used to support owners in developing sales action plans and marketing programs.
When I first began with FSI, my role was a business consultant using my background and success with major account sales development, printing sales and copier sales.
(Public Company; 10,001 or more employees; IKN; Business Supplies and Equipment industry)
February 1992 — March 1997 (5 years 2 months)
I started working for smaller copier company that was purchased by IKON and I spent 5 years as a copier salesperson during the tough economic times of the early 90's. I made thousands of cold calls on mid to large accounts which developed my selling process and my personal success strategies as I honed my selling skills. During this time I learned how to reverse objections, the value of following a selling process and using CRM technology.
When I left IKON, I was a Major Account Executive and IKON was about to change my territory for the 3rd time in the same year. This prompted me to accept a more stable position.
(Business Supplies and Equipment industry)
October 1988 — February 1992 (3 years 5 months)
I was responsible for multi-million dollar account development including National Franchise accounts. During this time, I coordinated several high profile meetings with C-Level executives to increase national contracts, improve customer relations and development. I was above quota in my local sales territory and government accounts. I exceeded my overall sales quota which included supplies and equipment and developed new accounts in Mexico. Unfortunately, the company, Multigraphics went out of business.
(Printing industry)
March 1980 — October 1988 (8 years 8 months)
PIP (Postal Instant Press) was the largest Quick Printing Franchise. This was a thriving in a growing company. I assisted with training and marketing development of programs that rolled out nationwide. I was part of the launch team of special programs including pricing development and special marketing programs.
I left the marketing department resonsible for several national campaigns that increased sales for the network as a whole.
Prior to this, I held the position of Operations Manager, responsible for ongoing support of the Franchise Support Center, 800 plus locations around the country. This position was resonsible for 10 company store operations and I reported to the President - Bill Levine.
I started working as a Field Coordinator, traveling the country opening up new locations. I published several operation manuals that increased the efficiency of store openings and developed systems that increased overall efficiency.
Graphic Arts 1970 — 1973
The sales positions I've held all required a BA in college. I don't have one! I sold my employers on my passion for life, family, integrity, commitment and hard work.
