Insurance technology, sales and e-business executive, consultant and business strategist. Expert at finding the perfect match between business goals and technological enablement, especially within the insurance industry.
Began career in information technology with Fortune-500 Johnson Controls in 1985. In 1987, joined Time Insurance and worked there for many years in progressing IT and Business Leadership roles. After serving for 2 years as the newly invented Fortis Health's Internet Director, joined American Medical Security and served as its VP of E-business for the years 2000-2003. From 2003-2005, worked as VP of Business Development, for Norvax, Inc., a then-startup and now-leading technology provider to the health insurance industry. I left Norvax to start my own consultancy in 2005, serving health plans, TPAs and large brokerages with tech strategy and implementation, focusing on sales enablement. During my time consulting, I launched a national consulting practice for a consulting firm, served as acting E-business VP for American Enterprise, and also helped an Orlando-based call center agency launch a national health insurance call center brokerage.
I spent about a year with Quotit as Senior VP of Business Development, driving significant growth for them nationally. In August 2008, I decided to pursue an offer to join Insurint. With Insurint now, I am pround to be hard at work with a fantastic team of innovative insurance executives on the next phase of the evolution of insurance sales.
