For the last 1.5 years I have been running tripwolf.com, a social online travel guide. I started tripwolf in summer 2007 in New York with the help of incubator i5invest. Since March 2008 tripwolf has been incorporated in Vienna, Austria, with offices in New York and Budapest, Hungary.
From 2003 to 2007 I was writing for Austria's most renowned news magazine "profil" which is based in Vienna. I covered the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, the youth scene in Tehran and the hunt for General Mladic in Serbia, among others, and I did interviews with Samuel Huntington and Amartya Sen.
In April 2006 I moved to New York to work as US correspondent for "profil", also writing for "Die Zeit", "Spiegel Online" (Hamburg), "Tagesspiegel" (Berlin), "FACTS" (Zurich), "Kurier", "Fleisch", "Datum", ".copy" and "Indie" (Vienna).
I speak German, English and Spanish fluently and Italian not-so-fluently. I have travelled to over 60 countries on all continents.
