I am an experienced CIO, consultant, company founder and inventor.
I have functional expertise in the business use of technology to drive accountability and consistency, increasing predictability in software development and facilitating IT-enabled business change.
I also have industry experience in financial services, automated sales and marketing, custom development, and manufacturing.
My passion is helping firms to become exponentially more efficient through the use of technology. Although technology offers great promise to make employees more productive, tech projects are too often unnecessarily complex and difficult to manage.
The value I offer is a clear vision of how to simplify technology into manageable component parts; professional and clear communication; discipline and focus on each client's issues, and over 16 years of experience at delivering successful projects.
I have brought multiple commercially-successful software products to market, as well as led troubled product line turnarounds.
I have developed an Agile software development methodology based on our team's accumulated experience. It isn't intrinsically magical, but the net effect of having a well-managed team following a clear methodology where every team member understands expectations and deliverables has produced magical results. It has been used by numerous local, off-shore and hybrid teams to produce great products on a predictable timeline.
