Director of Perfect Vision Ltd, Painter, Sculptor and Arts Project Manager at Perfect Vision Academy.
Ireland
I came out of The National College of Art and Design, Ireland, to a Dublin that was in recession. I went on to run an award winning community arts project with unemployed teenagers and adults in Kilbarrack Dublin.
My experience of community arts here led to my setting up of "The Artsquad" in conjunction with The Sculptors and Artists Associations of Ireland. I was then invited to run this project for the Dublin and County Dublin Area. It was a huge success, its first exhibition being opened by the President of Ireland at the time, Mary Robinson.
After 5 years here I left to pursue a career as an independent artist exhibiting in national exhibitions and being commissioned to create major public sculpture such as "The Ready Boat Pillar" in Howth County Dublin.
I became a qualified Web designer in '99 and worked on the independent communication's unison portal. I went on to set up and run Perfect Vision Ltd in 2001. I own and direct Perfect Vision, being commissioned to create artworks and run workshops that pass on my expertise. I now operate from my purpose built studio in Drogheda, I also direct the Perfect Vision Academy in the heart of Drogheda which presently includes 10 artists Studios and teaching rooms. I have recently attracted national media attention for my commissioned work.
