The platform was developed to realize the vision that an online store can be simple to setup, easy to manage, easy to scale, incorporate sophisticated but sleek processes and boast mindful design. Mooblr truly incorporates diverse demands in an elegant and understated system, functionality includes powerful geo-location, social commerce and theming features.
Mooblr is a product of Wixel.
I played a fundamental role in Mooblr’s development. Key roles involve product development, team development & design.

Wixel was established in 2010 as a privately-owned innovation studio focussing on development of commerce-enabling products and services.
Wixel turns ideas into prototypes and ultimately brings viable ideas to market. Initial projects include the development of an e-commerce platform for developers, e-commerce theming engine, social commerce application for Twitter and an ad exchange dedicated to online stores.
Although the company primarily invests in creating and fueling new ideas, the studio does help select clients make their ideas a reality through consultation and development of web and mobile e-commerce applications.
The company has a strong culture of play, creativity and innovation. Much of Wixel’s experimental work is released as open source.
Wixel is self funded and has been profitable since its inception.
My key role at Wixel includes daily management of the business, business communication, engineering, community management, project management, financial planning and business development.
