Built and led a team of world-class user-interface engineers to create the award winning website that Netflix is known for. Drove the team to continuously innovate and experiment with the capabilities of the UI. This included prototyping and presenting to the Product and Engineering organization to help reset thinking about highly interactive behaviors on the web. During my tenure, ForeSee Results rated Netflix as the #1 website in the world for customer satisfaction for three consecutive years.
Some Accomplishments:
- Maintained great relationships with the various stake-owners in each matrix organization.
- Successful in driving cross-functional projects by working with individual stake holders to manage resource time.
- Developed strategy for bandwidth testing for the Instant Watching product
- Gave conference presentations to educate the community about development best-practices, to improve Netflix's "employer brand" and to recruit top-talent.
