Sean Glass is an entrepreneur, investor, and student of positive psychology. He currently completing a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology at UPenn, is a Managing Director at Top Floor Capital, and is serving in founding roles at two new organizations, one for profit, and one social venture. Prior to that he lived in London while working on Pikum, a social gaming business. Prior to Pikum, Sean founded the higher education focused online financial services firm, Higher One. At Higher One he served as founding president and then as part of the executive team as Chief Marketing Officer for 8 years. During that time, Higher One reached profitability and in 2008 was ranked #85 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing U.S. private companies. Sean has been an active member of the word of mouth marketing association, having published articles in the first two WOMMA research journal publications. Prior to Higher One, Sean helped found the Yale Entrepreneurial Society (yes.yale.edu), and somehow graduated from Yale with a B.S. in Engineering Sciences. He enjoys helping young entrepreneurs get started, serving as a founding board member of the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, and being an angel investor. Sean recently published a book called Starting Hands, which shows how poker skills can help you succeed at starting a new company. Sean is an avid sports fan and participant.
