Years of stage technician experience and training left me knowledgeable in many areas, especially projection and visual arts. That expertise crossed-over with my web design business nicely, and has helped a lot since losing my job as a stage technician due to my disability, which limits me physically. I worked in various stagehand departments in television and theater in Los Angeles, including props, grips, carpenters, lighting, and audio. I programmed and operated complex automation equipment for the Los Angeles production of the Lion King. I became the projectionist and assistant audio technician at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, before being diagnosed with a disability that ended my career as a heavy lifter.
