Ogilvy Group UK comprises of 12 companies covering eight marketing and advertising disciplines. Each is a world leader.
The wireless device is a glue that connects these marketing and advertising disciplines. Also, it’s a glue that connects brands, consumers and retailers - in real time. Wireless technology connects the physical and digital worlds in ways that no other media can.
Brain Fetherstonhaugh (Chairman & CEO Ogilvy One Worldwide) said recently:
“Marketing has moved away from the 4p’s (of product, price, promotion and place) and has instead evolved to the 4 E’s including experience, everyplace, exchange and evangelism.”
If used correctly, mobile can deliver the 4 E’s and at the same time create a fresh dialogue of brand engagements with consumers. This dialogue with what Scott calls ‘branded mobile clubs’ will form the future of all marketing communications.

The only thing that could have dragged Scott from The Light Agency was the chance to enjoy the sun and work in the Australian digital media industry, where he stayed for three years. When he got back to the UK they (TLA) had very nicely kept his desk for him... they are very nice people.
