Technology Architect For The International Atomic Energy Agency (fullname at yahoo)
Austria
I am a technical architect who has been involved with internet technologies for well over a decade. My experience is diverse: from developing web applications to leading technical teams and almost everything in between.
I've worked in a wide range of environments: from startup companies to Fortune 100 corporations. I am currently gaining my first NGO/quasi-governmental experience as an international civil servant with the International Atomic Energy Agency. We strive to enhance our nuclear nonproliferation and safeguards capabilities while containing costs, preserving security and increasing access for our customers both in terms of availabilty and usability.
In my current role, I'm working with a small team of smart technologist and a large team of dedicated scientists to help keep the world's nuclear materials safe and prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction.
I'm also doing a second, very senior technical job as the Communications Expert for the IAEA's Safeguards environment.
