Prior to being RVP, Scott was the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Edusoft, a leading provider of assessment solutions for low- to mid-stakes assessments in K-12 school districts.

Prior to his work in assessment, Scott was the Vice Present for Teaching and Learning Initiatives at Classroom Connect. In that role, Scott consulted with state and federal agencies, as well as national grant-making organizations, to assist in the development of large-scale professional development initiatives. Regarded as a leader in distance learning for teacher professional development, Scott developed Connected University, Classroom Connect’s online staff development product.
