A member of the Professional Photographers of America and the National Press Photographers Association, Scott shoots almost exclusively with Nikon camera bodies and lenses - choosing all his current photography equipment based on the special light and motion demands of live dance photography on stage. This gear allows enormous versatility for available-light photography in almost any setting - from ambient-light interior portraits to blues hall performers and audiences, from wildlife and landscapes to portraits lit only by campfire - or the guests at a wedding reception or gala.
Scott has 25-plus years of management, organizational and operations experience - with strong additional background in performing arts, entertainment and athletic organizations - at all levels from front line to Board positions.
Areas of management expertise include operations systems analysis and improvement; risk management; information technology; web site content and efficacy; marketing and public relations; special event development, organization and execution; staff and organizational development; creative problem solving; and, strong business and creative writing skills.
