How Disney Vacation Club Membership Points Work
Opening Doors to Dream Vacations with Disney Vacation Club Membership
When you become a Disney Vacation Club Member, you're buying a real estate interest in an exceptional Disney Vacation Club Resort. And you're also getting a whole world of vacation value!
Because, not only can you enjoy the comforts and benefits of all eight Disney Vacation Club Resorts, you can also vacation at other dream destinations around the world, including an African safari or the beaches of Mexico.
Disney Vacation Points Give You Options to Choose From
How it works is simple. As a Member, you receive an annual allotment of Vacation Points to use towards each of your vacations. You receive the same allotment of Vacation Points each year, but how you use them is up to you!
Each of our accommodations has a Vacation Point value that is determined by the type of the room and timing of your stay. You use more Vacation Points for weekends and peak seasons and fewer during less busy times of year. And you use more Vacation Points for larger accommodations, like a three-bedroom Grand Villa, than for smaller ones like a Studio.
The Ultimate in Flexibility
It's all up to you. You can take one vacation a year or many. You can spend one night or enjoy weeks at your dream destination.
And the flexibility you have as a Disney Vacation Club Member doesn't stop there. Want to experience a safari in the wilds of Africa? As a Member, you can bank or borrow Vacation Points from other Use Years to use for a bigger vacation!
Best of all, your Membership can grow with your family's needs. Currently, you can become a Disney Vacation Club member with a real estate interest equal to as few as 100 Vacation Points. Most Members begin with between 210 and 270 Vacation Points. As your family expands and your vacation needs change, you can add on to your Membership.
