I am passionate about recruiting - helping people find new, satisfying positions and establishing a good fit between the company and the individual. Recruiting is not about 'slamming' a person with the right skills into a position, or convincing a candidate to take a job. Career growth and retention are key elements on both sides of the equation. Truth breeds trust.
I've built a college recruiting program from the ground up and I've also hired entry- to director-level professionals in a variety of roles (technical, accounting, administrative, marketing, human resources, sales).
Full life cycle recruiting, sourcing, negotiating, strategy and tactics, establishing and refining processes and procedures, process mapping, mentoring, relationship building.

Developing processes and procedures to ensure a steady flow of hard-to-find Java, .Net, and other technology professionals. Recruiting full life cycle from initial sourcing and pro-active pipelining through negotiation, offers, and ongoing relationship building.
Although in this role my primary focus is IT recruiting and infrastructure improvement, I've searched for everything from programmers and project managers to a data manager for one of the world's largest hedge funds, to a business continuity manager for a a top tier investment banking and securities firm. I have interviewed people internationally, including London, Singapore, and India.

At Software Architects I found, built relationships with, and hired both experienced and college level professionals in a variety of disciplines.
In addition to hiring salaried .Net and Java/J2EE consultants, I also trained junior recruiters, wrote thought papers on market conditions, co-developed the EEO tracking program and compliance process, and built a database of nearly 11,000 contacts.

At Protégé I built and managed a college recruiting program. I created the process, grew the program, and was the sole recruiter. Ultimately, I brought Protégé from being an also-ran to a winning competitor against recruiting powerhouses like Andersen, Enterprise, and State Farm.
