Mr. Deatherage practices in the areas of permitting, compliance, administrative and judicial litigation in air, water, hazardous waste, and toxic substance matters before local, state, and federal environmental agencies and courts. He advises clients on environmental matters relating to corporate governance and environmental disclosure. He serves as the firm's head of the Climate Change and Renewable Energy Practice Group. In this capacity, he works on carbon trading transactions, advising clients regarding developing carbon credit projects, and advising clients on corporate strategy regarding climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, and carbon trading.
