I worked for KREI, Incorporated in a number of capacities. I was an on air personality doing everything from music shows, sports play-by-play, hosting talk shows, news writer/reporter/anchor, commercial design and production, and on site broadcasts.
I was promoted to the Music Director's position in 1991 and was in charge of the station's digital transformation, software implementation, and programming. I was responsible for scheduling all broadcast shows, digital media conversion, public relations with music companies, and music programming.
In 1999, I added the title of assistant news director after years of reporting and writing winning Missouri State Broadcasting awards for outstanding spot news reporting, news series, and community service. -
