Creative Strategist working at the edge of design, open source methodology, and urban culture with global media reach and coverage.
I devise strategies and engineer ideas to transform organisations, campaigns, products, and at times entire cities into platforms for creativity and innovation, with a focus on new economic models for the creative economy in times of constraint. Throw in my work as media commentator, writer, lecturer and consultant, and we're pretty close to how I spend my days.
Concept creation and creative strategy; new models for the creativity economy in times of constraint; generative and open source methodologies to create micro and local platforms for engagement and innovation within a global framework; highly skilled at global media commentary: recent coverage in Russia, India, Ukraine, Argentina, North America and Europe.

Urban Play is an international open source urban design project in which, in its Amsterdam version, I invited 12 designers from around the world to design creative catalysts for people to personally interact with and contribute to along the waterfront of Amsterdam. It was the Creative City, made real.
In addition to the design project, I curated the largest exhibition of 3D / Guerrilla Urban Design, featuring 19 international artists.
Urban Play creates a series of catalysts to inspire people to be creative in the city, to stimulate debate about creativity in the city and the way this might differ from city to city. Future versions await...
