Director of Course Delivery, Sevenstar Academy
Greater Chicago Area
I have had specific experience on a large church staff in and around Christian education.
• Developing a day care center
• Administrating a Christian school
• Writing and teaching curriculum for an adult
During that time, I came to see the value of building networks of learners and connecting people through educational content. My life in eLearning began to emerge.
I came to Sevenstar Academy because I could see that shared vision for connecting learners through online courses. My specific input is in the areas of design and delivery and as the Learning Management System (LMS) expert. The best educational content is of no use if it cannot be effectively accessed because of poor design and delivery.
I have specific experience working with Desire 2 Learn LMS, Moodle and most recently ANGEL LMS. I also have experience consulting with schools and colleges about implementing online solutions to their offerings. Specifically, developing earned income strategies around online learning.

Sevenstar Academy has grown rapidly in 3 years through partnerships with existing "brick & mortar" schools looking to provide online courses for 6-12th grade students. Visit www.sevenstaracademy.org for more information.
As Director of Course Delivery I administrate the online platform (Angel LMS) in terms of its efficiency and effectiveness at presenting course curriculum. I project manage course migration, implementation, training and instructional design. I serve as a liaison between the "business" side and the "school" side of my company.

I was one of the pastors on the team planting a new church on the east side of Tampa with Steve and Janie Sjogren. My primary role morphed into a communication strategist for Steve's multiple web initiatives. I was able to transform his web presence from completely accidental to unified and well-thought in less than a year. We developed a consistent web follower-ship of 10,000+. I served as a content editor and architect, web and graphic designer and audio / video media producer.
