Scott Church’s Summary

I am currently working in Market Solutions to define compelling solutions for professional creators, editors and producers within the video/film and audio industry. I was previously the Music Creation Product Manager that determined the market requirements, customer requirements and led the design, definition and implementation of the new user interface, MIDI editor, Score editor and Playlist view (e.g. track comping) for Pro Tools 8. I also teach Pro Tools certification courses at Future Rhythm and Pyramind. I have worked with recognized industry-leaders, including Steinberg, audioMIDI.com, Guitar Center, M-Audio/Propellerhead, Obedia, NARAS (The GRAMMY Foundation)/Electronic Arts and T.C. Electronic.

I began my work in the music industry at Steinberg North America (developers of Cubase/Nuendo) in 1997 where I served as an evangelist and helped facilitate sales, training and educational events such as Club Cubase. I also helped launch audioMIDI.com, which has since become one of the leading online retailers of computer music technology. I then developed Creating Dance Music with Cubase VST, ReBirth and ReCycle!, a highly successful interactive instructional CD-ROM in 2000. In addition, I am a founding member of Connect For Education, the leading developer of online music and language courses used at esteemed universities and educational institutions.
