On a freelance basis I'm now Messaging Editor for Server Management magazine, where I cover enterprise email and messaging technologies on a monthly basis. I'm also a contributing editor for PC Plus, where I write the Office development column. Elsewhere I write about enterprise IT for IT Pro, consumer tools for The Official Windows XP Magazine, I cover web technologies for Web Designer, developer tools and technologies for The Register and contribute to the FT's Digital Business section.
I was a regular contributor to The Guardian's Inside IT section, covering a range of enterprise IT issues, until the section was closed with a recent redesign. Until recently I also had a web and Internet development column in the sadly closed Application Development Advisor. I also ran ASP and PHP columns in the now closed Web Developer.
I have written technology white papers for many of the world's top IT companies, as well as undertaking commissioned commercial writing for corporate magazines and publications.
