I have worked with founder, my aunt, Susan Highsmith, many times over the years with PR, event planning, graphic design and fundraising for the organization.

I have developed promotional materials for MADAC including: magazine cover, magazine story spread, newsletter, brochure, and multiple event posters.

In the fall of 2009, I completed a detailed special-event plan with Susan for a major fundraising event that totaled over $30,000 for MADAC and the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

Last Spring, I was involved with MADAC's "Purple Glove" video campaign at the world's largest Relay for Life in Gwinnett County. Thousands were filmed wearing purple gloves, dancing with rehearsed choreography to the song "Everybody Dance Now." The event was professionally filmed, edited, and will be posted to YouTube soon, in hopes of inspiring similar celebratory events in Relays across the nation. MADAC's Purple Glove Dance was featured on the front page of a local newspaper, the Gwinnett Daily Post.
