I fix things.

Seriously though, I do. Having worked for over a decade as a software developer and Linux (and other Unix variants) system administrator, I have gained what some refer to as arcane knowledge about servers, protocols, browsers and what to do when your Windows-based web server is dying.

I started out doing LAMP solutions (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) but have broadened my horizon with delightful things such as XSLT, C#, advanced client and server side JavaScript (Prototype, jQuery, NodeJS) and web acceleration (Varnish, NGINX etc.)

I'm very quality oriented, and my goal is to always use the tool or language available in the best way possible, ensuring proper compatibility, security and longevity. This includes object oriented development, encapsulation, narrow interfaces, separation of concerns etc.

Most importantly, I love what I do! :-)
