I started my marketing experience out at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in the heart of Silicon Valley as a marketing intern. There I worked directly with the marketing director, marketing specialist, sales manager, & CEO. Extremely detailed research in the semiconductor industry was a main part of my job as well
as innovating new ideas on how to enter emerging market places worth pursuing. The high paced industry of semiconductors was a place where I learned how to be flexible, innovative, and just plain smart when it came to marketing objectives, business ideas, and sales pieces. Work I completed was directly handed to the CEO and Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
At MTS I worked directly with planning & engineering, design, & marketing departments through a variety of community relations events and press conferences. This job required me to be an outgoing, independent individual when speaking directly with consumers. Campaigns I implemented included a gorilla-style marketing campaign partnered with Coca-Cola that lasted 3 weeks, set up press conferences for CEO and Board of Directors, Padres and Coca-Cola partnered events where I coordinated venues, guest-lists, invites, etc., & Coordinate marketing event for the launch of the beach route with fm 94.1, Wavehouse, & Coca-Cola.
At dt I worked as Social Marketing Specialist. I worked within the social media space as chief communicator and conversational architect for startups. In addition to developing marketing strategy and using PR 2.0 as a means of communication I also leverage my expertise in Target Audience Profiling, Messaging, Email Management, SEO, Social Media Marketing, PPC management (Google, MSN, Yahoo, Adbrite, Pulse360) & Blogging to create the most robust marketing plans.
