Ah, summer stock theater. In this position, I oversaw all of the details for a thirty member company of actors and technicians, including but not limited to scheduling, building, living arrangements, and budgeting. I was also responsible for overseeing all details of seven separate production performed in repertory, from props to lights to music to cleaning the mildew off the canvas sides of the semi-permanent house.
The whole experience almost beat the summer stock job I had where horses were part of the cast and people threw flaming torches at my head. But not quite.
