Samuel Leonel’s Summary

I started my carrier as a business & financial information professional, and have been involved with business content segments since 1998 when I joined Reuters as a marketing executive.

In 2000 I was appointed to be a Content Licensing Specialist for Latin America at Factiva, the Dow Jones & Reuters joint-venture in the Business Intelligence market (position I held until the end of 2002).

In 2003 I joined two other associates in US to co-found a startup company focused in developing online content management & distribution systems for small and medium sized content publishers.

Later in 2006, I moved to Europe for family reasons and in 2007 I was offered a Data Supplier Relationship Management temporary position at Thomson Financial to use my previous experience in this industry to help them with contractual issues during the Thomson and Reuters merger (completed in 2008).

Early in 2009 I have rejoined indeXet full time to help them release (Q3-09) a new content distribution platform designed to help newspapers and magazines publishers to make available large historical content archives through the web.
