With more than 10 years experience in marketing communications, I have worked in positions demanding a wide array of skills and expertise in areas such as brand and publication management, marketing and advertising, writing, editing and media and blogger relations. I am a creative and strategic thinker, with the strong interpersonal skills required for relationship building and negotiation, and have always worked in deadline driven environments that demand leadership and self-motivation.

I am looking for a new role with some room to be creative – strategically and tactically. Because I see myself as a big picture thinker, I like to work as part of an integrated team of ideas and action people who take concepts and make them robust realities that cover a wide business spectrum (marketing, sales, communications, media relations, etc.)

I’d like to apply my own skills of being a strategic thinker and develop solutions that speak to the goals of a company in a culture that is open to measured and creative risk taking. I firmly believe in linking all aspects of the marketing/communications function to that of sales.

Culturally, I appreciate an environment that is relaxed, personable and collaborative across the company, at all levels. I believe that this type of setting can, indeed, remain professional, while being casual at the same time.

At the end of the day, I really want to make a solid contribution to something I’ve helped to create/build…not just carry out. I want to feel like I’m being challenged and applying that challenge in a bottom line way that benefits the company. Moreover, I want to continue growing as a professional and add value in ways that make sense.
