Sam Lu’s Summary
Web Developer with experience in internet application development and designing for the web. Had the ability to work as a web developer at Critical Mass for a year onboard the Ashland account maintaining websites which ran on an ASP/MS-SQL stack. During that time there were many opportunities to do both frontend and backend work as well, and make webpages more interactive with the help of jQuery.
During free time, coding of internet applications and exploring new technologies to utilize is a hobby. The Wii Friend Number Facebook application which was developed during free time utilizes the CodeIgniter PHP framework and Amazon's SimpleDB database infrastructure for scalability. To improve on server resource efficiency, the uncommon server nginx was utilized to power the server behind it.
