Online Marketing Manager at GamerDNA
Greater Boston Area
Community Manager at gamerDNA where I'm in at the ground floor of the community, growing the member base from a couple hundred thousand people to millions of people and making sure our community scales along with it. At gamerDNA I work with marketing to help design customer acquisition programs and build relationships with other game companies to support our community. I'm constantly in contact with the product team and often give input into the design of the product, the features of the product, and the marketing of the product.
At gamerDNA I strive to have as high level of communication as possible, often using and embracing new technologies along the way that help us communicate more effectively. Mid 2008 gamerDNA fully embraced Twitter as a customer outreach and support tool and I have driven that initiative since the beginning.
Working at a startup has been an absolutely fantastic experience and opportunity and I'm loving every minute of it. Being able to be so involved with the process at gamerDNA has been a very rewarding experience.
The Past:
On the fansite side of things I have been involved with and operating internet radio stations for the past two years, acting as a station manager for the past year. The internet radio stations that I have been involved with have all been for online video game players(MMO video games). Since January 2007 I have been working with The Uberguilds Network and on June 9th we launched the network's flagship radio station, Uberguilds Radio. In November of 2007 The Uberguilds Network was acquired by GuildCafe Entertainment Inc.
Over the years I have worked with all levels of people. I have 4 years experience working with volunteers in an administrative role.
