I have been editing for almost ten years through school and gratis freelance work. I am now building a career as a paid freelance editor and writer and looking into my options as an in-house editor somewhere perfect for my skills.

I was in charge of getting and taking submissions, assigning them to the section editors, taking their edited suggestions and deciding which works made it into the Review. It was the first online edition, and I helped manage the transition from a print journal to a digital one.

I started and launched an indipendent underground literary magazine in my highschool with my friend Annette Minoso. It ran for three issues and we accepted, edited and layed out all submissions. We concieved it as a word-of-mouth literary magazine, printing only eight copies and passing them around; they made it all over town and were well-recieved before we had to stop when she moved.
