While still in college I had some terrific jobs. I worked with precision and deadlines.
Working for Revlon Int'l I worked with package engineers, fashion photographers and very talented people. I designed fragrance packaging and department store display units... before I was snatched up by....
US News and World Report Magazine. I designed mailers and inserts for the magazine and invitation packages for White House events. I was the Sr. Designer there and had the pleasure of working with some of the best copy writers in the business.
After the Creative Director (Vanessa Reed) left to work for Mr. Murdoch at TV Guide, I found myself being wooed over by her. One of the hardest working women I have ever met. We put together the office from the ground up. She put together a great staff and I built the Art Department.
I left my industry behind when my husband relocated our family for a job on Barbados Far too far a commute to Manhattan..so we started a family...
Always the business person, I have channeled my creative and business ability to Real Estate.
As intoxicating as real estate is, I miss the design field. Probably why I do so much of my own promotion and design: Web Sites, sale pieces and mailers.
