My goal is to work one on one with each patient to find the cause of their pain and dysfunction. Treating "the hurt" is one aspect while finding why "the hurt" exists is the ultimate objective. Developing a plan for eliminating why something hurts is the challenge. Only when a patient works with the same physical therapist throughout their care can this challenge adequately be undertaken. Working with patients after their surgery, after their sports injury, after their back injury, or after simply deciding to seek treatment for the nagging problem is my area of expertise.
Preventing athletic injuries is an important goal for me. I work with athletes including figure skaters, gymnasts, and baseball players who are not injured in developing their strength and conditioning programs for performance improvement and injury risk reduction.
