Primary developer on our high-volume web optimization project. Since our company sells tickets for large events, we usually see massive surges in traffic once popular events go on sale. Work included fine tuning algorithms, object caching and resource caching throughout all corners of our web application and object layer.
Primary developer for a Web 2.0 project that allows customers to buy tickets for an event from an interactive map. Technologies included AJAX and a custom framework to keep the library size as minimal as possible. This feature needed to be capable and compelling but also support a large amount of traffic.
Primary developer for building a touch screen kiosk application used to sell tickets to sporting events and concerts. Work included extensive use of GDI+ for creating custom controls appropriate for a touch screen user interface. Development also included rigid security requirements to prevent access to the kiosk machine. -

Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union – Designed and built an application responsible for reconciling and releasing branch capture share drafts that have been cleared to member credit unions. Used technologies included .NET 2.0 with C# and SQL Server 2005. Database grew an average of one million new records each day.
Horizon Service Group – Maintained several different .NET web applications responsible for tracking the status and locations of different types of equipment. -

Primary developer for a project management tool used to inventory equipment, manage interns' schedules and log hours for work billed to customers.

Applied for two patents for technical involvement developing a generic, XML-based questionnaire framework designed to speed the development of wizard-based websites. -

Designed and built a mechanical chess board. Pieces included an acrylic board, a basic circuit board, an electromagnet and two stepper motors to control vertical and horizontal movement. The computer was programmed to move pieces via the parallel port. Game play was interfaced with an artificially intelligent chess engine and the WinBoard protocol.
Developed a 3D Tic-Tac-Toe game engine with an artificial intelligent agent that implemented genetic algorithms to determine the next best move. -
