As an assistant to a Senior Director of Communications at Merck & Co, Inc. I became extremely interested in the role social media plays in both our personal and our professional lives.
While working at Merck, I co-founded the blog Employee Evolution, which has been featured in news sources such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek and 60 Minutes. Our goal was to give Gen-Y/the Millennials a voice in the the discussion about how companies can effectively recruit and retain young professionals.
In August 2007, I co-founded Brazen Careerist, Inc., an online resource for young people and HR professionals. Our goal is to continue to provide informative and accurate content on young people at work leveraging the new world of social media to our advantage.
I also speak to companies, organizations and students on issues that affect the Millennial Generation. For more information, please feel free to contact me via email.
