Ryan Marshall’s Summary

My career started at Calvary Chapel MultiMedia, but it didn't really take off until I was brought on board to assist the design and development of BOOMj.com's social network while the company was still in the very early stages of start-up. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have caught such a break, but it has been a very richly rewarding experience.

At Beyond Commerce, after getting the first version of BOOMj.com online, I assisted and oversaw multiple revisions and improvements to the website while it grew to 1 million unique visitors per month. With BOOMj.com stable and generating repeat visits, Beyond Commerce set me on to assisting with the design & development of their e-commerce website, Shop.BOOMj.com. This site was also a great success for Beyond Commerce and ultimately led to the inception of their brand-new i-SUPPLY division.

The rest, as they say, is history. I currently consult and freelance for a variety of clients all over Southern California and across the USA, tackling projects as small as a photographer's website, to some as big as a full-featured social network for supermodels.

Managed the design & development of Artie Lange's new website. Artie-Lange.com received well over 8,000 pageviews per day the week that the beta version was "accidentally" leaked to the public, and it went on to generate a steady stream of 4-6,000 pageviews per day after the initial spike. The website featured both admin- and user-generated pictures and video content, as well as a full set of social networking features.

Performed the development of Regal Models' new website, using features such as member profiles, admin-generated video and picture content, guestbooks, user-level access for models and ordinary members, and so on. The site's beta launch was a success and generated substantial interest, as well as a hefty dose of new member registrations.
