Ryan's purpose in coming to CRI was to help form a new consulting practice to withstand the pressures of low cost labor, and reacquire high end consulting that was difficult to off shore.
This new line of business was rooted in the demands of IT organizations to comply with increasing governmental regulations to maintain levels of quality and document proof of that quality. Sarbanes-Oxley.
Through clear vision and broad experience Ryan developed a strategic business plan and partnership alliances. This enabled the company and consultant base to go to market providing Sarbanes-Oxley compliant test automation services for Oracle eBusiness Applications customers. Services built on industry standard toolsets from Mercury.
This practice proved to have ironclad protection from off shoring through critical involvement of core business processes. For a large customer base susceptible to Sarbanes-Oxley and at the complete mercy of Oracle in its barrage of patches and family packs.

Adecco needed a force of creativity to ignite and unite teams, maintain value of current service and develop untapped latent customer need. During his time with Adecco, Ryan expanded managed services around three distinct needs: exploratory software testing, virtual systems and standardizing test automation and test management.
By promoting exploratory testing strategies, and inspiring the team to adopt new methods, value of the existing employee base was reaffirmed and head count maintained. Ryan’s team implemented technology to provided 10k additional man-hours per product.
Uniting a team crossing four lines of business, disparate test management systems were consolidated. Through Ryan’s leadership, Adecco was able to redirect engineers in their managed service creating a new and unique value. Head count and pay levels were maintained.
Total cost to the customer was reduced, and the preferential use of Adecco's managed service was solidified.

From a single web page Ryan and Gary expanded the vision of preserving the Lehmann legacy to a monolithic Web-based memorial of art, imagery and sound. The Foundation was formed; 501c3 status obtained, and internationally acclaimed advisors became involved.
Ryan suggested establishing a second website dedicated to the promotion of Art Song and the education of the art form in public schools. The first international art song contest entirely based on the Internet was established. Submissions could be made and the judging take place all through collaborative online tools.
Through Ryan's work the Foundation was able to establish an online archive of Lehmann's work. A community of aficionados was fostered and the mechanism of preserving memories of Lehmann's dieing colleagues was put in place. Cybersing is now an annual contest with alternating years of performance and composition. For each performance year a new composition is commissioned.
