Founder, Brazen Careerist
Madison, Wisconsin Area
I'm a Co-Founder of Brazen Careerist, and a graduate of Penn State's Smeal College of Business. I started my career in Washington DC as a financial consultant with IBM Global Business Services. While there, I became extremely (and maybe strangely) interested in Human Capital and work-life issues, specifically as they related to generational differences in the workplace. In March 2007 I founded the Generation Y career blog and online community, Employee Evolution.
I now live in Madison, Wisconsin, and spend the majority of my time developing new product strategies and working closely with the development team at Brazen to create unique features and products for our community. I spend the rest of my time keeping an eye on our finances and traveling the country to speak about Generations in the workplace, and social media as a career tool.
I've been quoted in print publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Business Week and I've appeared as a spokesperson for the new generation of workers on CBS's 60 Minutes, 20/20 and National Public Radio.
