March 2008 — June 2008 (4 months)
Finally listened to my father's and sister's advice and began recruiting. Worked for a great group of people recruiting in the advertising agency business.

March 2007 — October 2007 (8 months)
After realizing I wasn't going to be Bob Costas, I gave sales a shot. Somehow got the General Manager position selling upscale, overpriced, executive suites in Tysons Corner (Northern Virginia). In 6 months led occupancy turnaround from 60% to 91%. Enjoyed the success, but not the job. Moved one more time to live near family, beach and warm weather.

March 2005 — February 2007 (2 years )
Spent two years as a weekend sports anchor and weekday reporter at dominate #1 station in Florence/Myrtle Beach, SC. Covered the Carolina Panthers, South Carolina, Clemson & NASCAR in addition to the traditional small market stuff. Worked a ton of hours and made between $29-$31k (see how glamorous TV is!).

August 2002 — February 2005 (2 years 7 months)
My first on-air sports broadcasting position. Spent 2 & 1/2 years in South Dakota covering high school sports and rodeos while reeling in between $20-$25k. Beautiful place during the summer... Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands rock... but stay far away between December and March.

October 1999 — May 2002 (2 years 8 months)
My first job out of school. Spent three years working behind the scenes at the 20th Century FOX lot in LA. Back then FSN thought they could compete with ESPN. Had a bunch of great anchors (Chris Myers, Keith Olbermann, Jeannie Zelasko), but couldn't touch Bristol. Finally quit trying and penalized us with the "Best Damn Sports Show Period."
