When I think about account planning, my heart speeds up in excitement and my mind races with curiosity.
My name is Ryan Drumwright. I am a junior integrated marketing communication major at Winthrop University and future account planner.
As a junior IMC major, I have experience acting as an account planner on various projects. My experience includes:
+ Using MRI Plus and qualitative research methods to develop consumer profiles for primary and secondary TAs.
+Using research to discover consumer insights, and developed a campaign to reach selected TA.
+Conducting ethnographic research and determining key insights from the research
+Writing creative briefs
+Developing creative campaigns from strategy to execution
That is a list of some of my formal experience. I also have the informal experience of being an avid people watcher and fearless conversation striker. I will talk to anyone! It is amazing how much you learn from striking up a conversation, and genuinely caring about what the other person says. It is really cool. Plus, the other person appreciates the fact that you took an interest in learning about them and their interests. Life is cool how it works, huh?
I am currently searching for a summer account planning internship. I am hungry for experience, knowledge and an outlet for my passion for understanding people. My work hard, play hard attitude prepares me to do whatever it takes to succeed, and bring value to consumers, your clients and your agency.
Experience:
APPLYING MARKET RESEARCH DATA:
- Used MRI+ and qual. research methods to develop consumer profiles for primary and secondary TAs.
- Used research to discover consumer insights, and developed a campaign to reach selected TA.
ETHNOGRAPHY:
