Ryan Balton’s Summary
Ryan Balton is a freelance journalist, photographer, videographer, video editor, web designer and writer out of Milford, Pa.
Ryan is dual majoring in television/radio/film and public policy studies at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, he was elected General manager of CitrusTV, the nation's oldest and largest student-run TV station, where he regularly directs, produces and technical directs news and sports programming.
Ryan has independent production experience as producer/director of "Controversy on the Delaware," a local history documentary recognized globally by the History Channel, International Cinematographers Guild and National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
On the set and on location, Ryan has been a camera jib assistant for many productions including the Inside the NFL, the 2008 Tony Awards and Rescue Me.
For years Ryan has been a correspondent for a tri-state newspaper called The Gazette, and he has a variety of Web site clients in the tristate area.
Back home in Milford, Pa., he attends and actively participates in school board meetings. Ryan also volunteers for the international K-12 creative problem-solving program Odyssey of the Mind, the Pike County Public Library and the annual Delaware River Cleanup.
