    As Program Director I have responsibility to the development of the Transport Management Centre. This is a rolling 5 year $50m program to upgrade the facility and systems used by the RTA to manage the operation of the NSW road network.

    Major components of the program include:

    1/ Converting the video system from analogue to IP, replacing the main
    video wall, installing additional video walls and replacing teh video management and distribution system.

    2/ Repatforming the incident management systems

    3/ Replacing current fault management systems with a new, unified FMS/asset management system.

    4/ Developing a suitable Continuity of Operations Plan, together with secondary backup data centre and backup operations centre.

    5/ Research and development of additional systems to support the TMC operators in the operational management of the road network.

I had a staff of 26 professionals, as well as a number of contractors.
