I am a change management specialist. I have worked in a number of professional disciplines including fleet management, traffic management, civil engineering, quality management and financial management.
In my current position I am responsible for the development of the systems used by the NSW Transport Management Centre (TMC) to manage the operation of the road network.
The TMC Development Program is a $50m 5 year development program that will result in improved road safety and improved travel times on the Sydney road network.

As Program Director I have responsibility to the development of the Transport Management Centre. This is a rolling 5 year $50m program to upgrade the facility and systems used by the RTA to manage the operation of the NSW road network.
Major components of the program include:
1/ Converting the video system from analogue to IP, replacing the main
video wall, installing additional video walls and replacing teh video management and distribution system.
2/ Repatforming the incident management systems
3/ Replacing current fault management systems with a new, unified FMS/asset management system.
4/ Developing a suitable Continuity of Operations Plan, together with secondary backup data centre and backup operations centre.
5/ Research and development of additional systems to support the TMC operators in the operational management of the road network.

As Manager Transport Operations Planning at Sydney's Transport Management Centre I was responsible for planning for the traffic impacts of major events (e.g. New Years Eve, Sydney Marathon etc), contingency planning for the road networks (accidents and other disasters) and the development of systems used by the TMC to manage these functions. I had a staff of 26 professionals, as well as a number of contractors.
