Rusty is co-founder and Vice President of Prospero Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of social media applications for the online publishing industry.
Rusty first joined Delphi Internet, Prospero’s predecessor company, in 1986 and served as Vice President and General Manager through 1993 and for two years as part of the News Technology group within Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. From 1995 to 1997 he served as Vice President of New Internet Ventures for Individual, Incorporated, a publicly-traded provider of personalized news. He managed the development, design and ad sales for the NewsPage business news web site. He was involved in the acquisition and integration of several companies including ClariNet, CompanyLink, and Freeloader. A recognized authority on interactive media, Rusty has been a featured speaker at Internet World, The Breakfast Network, Interactive Services Association, Digital Convergence, Buying and Selling eContent, and investment conferences. He graduated with a BA degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he was also captain of the football team.

Delphi is one of the first online services. I managed all sales, marketing, business development and customer service. After becoming the first consumer online service to access the internet and growing rapidly, we negotiated the sale of the company to News Corp.
I worked with various divisions of News Corp including Rupert Murdoch and News Technology to help set up internet initiatives within the various brands.
Eventually, Alan Baratz was brought in to serve as CEO, he brought in a several new managers, and it was time to move on to something new.
